Any upgrade will be done for this release. Select the same version for the matlab library and MGS executable (7.1 or 7.3).

Updates for version 5 release 02

  1. Anode and Cathode are centered around (51,51)
  2. Abnormal long collection times are corrected

Updates for version 5 release 01

  1. Charges are computed directly from the carriers trajectories, less energy dispersion and mirror charges return to zero
  2. Speed improvement when computing charges : x10
  3. Cleanup most of the code

Previous release

This previous release is available for historical reasons. It is slower and no maintenance will be done for it. Consider using v4 it only if you need perfect current signal.

Older updates

  1. New way of computing end of trajectories, leading to a reduced energy dispersion.

Known issues :

  1. mgs_batch only works with a property file named "mgs.prop".
  2. time step for computing trajectories can not be modified (even if you can change the value in the interface or in "mgs.prop".
