Jets are an important part of the LHC physics. The planned searches for Higgs and SUSY depend crucially on good jet measurement. The unexpected discoveries such as compositeness or new resonances depend on measurement and understanding of the QCD jet rates. So learning and understanding details of the QCD phenomena is vital in searching for signs of what might be beyond the SM. Also these measurement will allow to test QCD predictions for parton-parton scattering and to constrain the parton density functions (PDF) of the proton, particularly the gluon distribution. This talk will review some measurements of the QCD related processes that could be performed at the LHC based on final states containing jets.
